THE HELP CENTER

A little help.
A lot more clarity.

From your first pay date to your final download, here’s how to get the most out of StubBeam.

01How much does StubBeam cost?

Introductory pricing is $9.99 per paystub, or $29 per month for unlimited paystubs across unlimited businesses, or $149 per year for unlimited paystubs for one business’s own employees. W-2 documents for 2024 and 2025 are $15 each or included with an active monthly subscription; annual paystub subscriptions do not include W-2s. All paystub options include all four layouts and a free preview before payment. Monthly subscribers can create and edit paystubs for multiple client businesses with no business-count limit. Annual plans cover one business. The annual plan is billed at $149 per year. Manage your subscription and cancel renewal from Account billing. Prices are in USD. Local test checkout does not charge you or activate a subscription.

02Who is StubBeam built for?

StubBeam is built for business owners and employers who run payroll and need professional paystubs for their employees. Enter your payroll records, review each period, and download the completed wage statements.

03Is payroll software coming soon?

Yes. StubBeam payroll software is coming soon, with a focus on helping business owners and employers manage employee payroll in one place. Features and launch details will be announced here. The current product creates paystub documents; it does not send wages, file returns, or remit taxes.

04How do I download my paystubs?

Complete the generator, review your figures, and save your paystubs. In the local test version, choose Complete Test Checkout. When preparation finishes, use Download PDF for one paystub, or Download all PDFs for a ZIP containing each paystub in your order.

05Can I create more than one paystub?

Yes. Choose between 1 and 24 paystubs in Payment information. Each additional paystub advances one pay period. Review the hours and earnings for each period before saving. Multiple PDFs download together in a ZIP file.

06Can I add direct-deposit account details?

You can enter the last four digits of a direct-deposit account in Payment information. This is optional. The digits appear masked on your preview and PDFs; leave the field blank to omit them.

07Which taxes does StubBeam calculate?

The generator calculates supported federal and state withholding using its 2026 rules. When a state or local calculation is not supported, it asks for the amount from your payroll records. Employer-supplied amounts are identified on the document.

08Can I change the template?

Yes. Choose from four layouts and preview your information in each before saving. Switching styles changes the presentation while preserving the calculated figures.

09Does the test checkout charge my card?

No. The local test version does not process real payments. Its test checkout prepares actual PDF documents so you can try the complete save-and-download flow.

10What information should I have ready?

Have your company and employee details, pay dates, pay frequency, earnings, deductions, and tax elections ready. If you are importing prior year-to-date balances, use the figures from your existing payroll records.

11Does StubBeam send wages or file taxes?

No. StubBeam creates wage statements from information you provide. It does not send employee payments, file tax returns, or remit payroll taxes.
